Women’s sports is changing, changing for the better. We see record investment in women’s sports, record attendance, and an embracing of the importance of mental health in sports.
However, little attention is dedicated to the “whole player” development of youth athletes for success in and beyond sports. According to the 2023 Rox Report, 79% of girls say they are going to explode because of pressure. And confidence among 5th grades dropped by nearly 20% from 2017 to 2023 — issues exacerbated by the pandemic.
At all levels, we consistently see players struggle to maintain their mindset through the highs and lows of competitive sports. From overcoming societal doubt, lack of funding, overuse injuries, the pressure to play in a man’s world, and a lack of consistency, many girls have struggled in silence as these pressures have mounted.
Seeing gaps in the mental and leadership development of youth female athletes, we developed tangible tools and solutions for players.
Our mental skills and leadership-centered programming helps female athletes advocate for themselves from a young age and provides resources to athletes who have experienced the challenges of competing in environments that aren’t always designed to help players succeed.
Our why? Offering the next generation of female athletes the skills we wish we had when we were young for success in and out of sports.
